Terms of Service

The rules for using JobMitro.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JobMitro website and mobile apps (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What we do

JobMitro is a platform that connects Employers with Candidates for staff-level and other roles. We provide the place where Employers post jobs and Candidates apply. We are not the employer of any Candidate, we are not a party to any hiring or employment, and we do not guarantee any job, hire, salary or outcome.

2. Who can use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work or hire in India. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done through your account.

3. Your account

  • Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
  • One account per person or business, unless we agree otherwise.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Candidate responsibilities

  • Apply only to jobs you are genuinely interested in, with truthful details.
  • Do not impersonate anyone or post false information.
  • You choose whether to share your phone number for direct calls and whether to appear in search.

5. Employer responsibilities

  • Post only genuine, lawful jobs with accurate details.
  • Do not charge Candidates any fee to apply or to be hired, and do not ask Candidates for money, security deposits or payment card details.
  • Use Candidate information only to consider and contact them for the role — not for spam, marketing lists, or any unrelated purpose.
  • Follow all applicable labour and employment laws in your dealings with Candidates.

6. Field agents

Authorised field agents may register Candidates and Employers on their behalf, especially for people without a smartphone or email. Agents must only add real people and businesses with their consent, and must enter accurate details. Access for agents is granted and can be revoked by us at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post anything false, misleading, unlawful, discriminatory, abusive, or that infringes someone's rights.
  • Post job listings that are actually advertisements, schemes, "registration fee" jobs, or anything designed to defraud.
  • Scrape, copy or harvest data from the Platform, or try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
  • Upload viruses or malicious code, or misuse another user's information.

We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms.

8. Content you provide

You keep ownership of the content you submit (such as job posts, profile details and resumes). You grant us a limited licence to host and display that content on the Platform so we can provide the service — for example, showing your job post to Candidates, or your profile to relevant Employers.

9. Job expiry and availability

Job posts may have an expiry period, after which they stop appearing in listings and search. We may also change, pause or remove features, and we do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available or error-free.

10. No guarantee

The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy of any job post or user profile, the conduct of any Employer or Candidate, or that any application will lead to a hire. You are responsible for your own decisions, including verifying the other party before sharing sensitive information, attending an interview, or accepting a role. Please be cautious of anyone asking for money.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, JobMitro is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your dealings with other users, from reliance on any content, or from unavailability of the Platform.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Platform and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse the Platform.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Platform means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law requires otherwise.
